Q: What does 'cyancees' mean? And how do you pronounce it?

A: Cyan seas, because cyan is my favourite colour, and I love the sea. Especially when it's cyan. You can pronounce it as cyan seas, but I say it like "sigh-ANNE-sees".

Q: What tablet and program(s) do you use?

A: My tablet is a VEIKK A15. I have a variety of softwares (Paint Tool Sai, Medibang Paint Pro, Autodesk Sketchbook) but now I pretty much entirely use Clip Studio Paint EX.

Q: How did you learn to draw/colour/animate/etc?Have you been to art school?When did you start drawing?

A: I'm mostly self-taught. When I say "mostly," I mean I've followed many tutorials and referred to many "how-to-draw manga" books.
I want to say I never really "started" drawing, I was always artistic as a kid. I really found my passion for it when I was around 10, maybe?

Q: Can I use your art as my icon on [social media platform]?(Example: Discord, Twitter, Tumblr, Tiktok)

A: Yes, my art is OK for personal use on social media profiles. No credit is necessary but if you're a big account (like, 10k+ followers), I'd definitely prefer credit in your bio or wherever.

Q: Can I use your art for [other thing]?(Example: Comic dubs, reposts to other platforms, youtube thumbnails, video or image edits)

A: It depends, so ask me first. I'm usually pretty lenient as long as I'm aware of it. When people go and make, say, a comic dub using my comic without asking first I don't like it. I usually say yes to that stuff anyway so just ask please!!!
The only area I'm really strict is commercial use, which is a strict NO.

Q: Can I make requests or ask for tutorials on drawing certain things?

A: Sure! I don't "take requests", per se, but I appreciate ideas and suggestions. This means you're free to ask me to draw whatever, but I may or may not actually do it. I definitely won't draw requests that have nothing to do with what I usually draw; that's what commissions are for.
I tend to hoard a lot of different suggestions and keep them in my inbox for a long time.

Q: Can we be friends/mutuals? Can I DM you about random/personal stuff?
Can I add you to group chats?
Can I join your discord?

A: Haha... please don't do that. If we're mutuals you're free to message me, but please don't ask to be mutuals. I also don't want to talk about random things with random people, sorry.If you want to DM me about anything related to my art that isn't about commissions, for example you've seen my art reposted somewhere, that's fine.

Q: How do I get as good at art as you? I suck.

A: Lots of practice. I've drawn for many, many years and I still have so far to go. I appreciate the sentiment but I get very uncomfortable when people put their own art down around me, like saying "you're so much better than I am, I wish I could draw." Literally no artist likes hearing this.

Q: Can I draw your OC/an AU you came up with?

A: PLEASE. And tag me/DM it to me. If I miss that stuff I will cry. Show me all of it.

Q: I heard that you're a "proshipper," is that true?

A: No I am not. I never was. Never will be. I have actually always been vocally against that line of thinking, and I am literally on "anti" blocklists for it. I really hate even talking about it, because it is so extremely online and stupid, but if you've heard this rumour please know that I'd have no reason to lie about being an "anti" and alienate a huge potential audience in the process.
I don't want people who call themselves "pro-ship" to even follow me.

Q: I think I recognise your art style, did you draw [thing]?

A: A few of my pieces have gotten popular among different fandoms. If you were into Yakuza, Homestuck, Danganronpa or Metalocalypse there's a good chance you've seen some of my stuff. Had a few cringe Overwatch comics do numbers too.I put some of the things you might recognise me for below.
